Welcome to my vision for a national ‘ Healing Gardens ‘ dedicated to the principles of  holistic healing through nature.

by Kathryn Plowright

As custodians of this ever changing world the time has come for people to reconnect with the earth through whatever medium engages them in order to preserve our future existence. We are witnessing a huge re engagement of people with the earth through gardening and ‘growing their own’ – just part of this movement – and The Healing Gardens message serves as another enterprising avenue.

At present there is no ‘centre of excellence’ to showcase our diverse and valuable history of complementary medicine and  therapies.  So many people have experienced the benefits and joined the immense following it has today. Complementary medicine is no new phenomenon, it is steeped in tradition and cultural variances and so  seems only fitting that nationally we should honour this renaissance of a ‘ timed served’ practice which has harnessed natures intelligence alongside our enthusiasm for a more natural, less invasive approach and gained our trust in believing  there is more to healing than drugs and surgery.

We need to raise 2.5 million pounds in order to purchase the property and land, and fund the initial running costs.  We will be looking for volunteers and staff in the future, but for now we need to raise money and raise awareness.

If you can help by donating through the link below, or make a bequest no matter how great or small, we will be one step further to realising something which not only serves us now, but for future generations to come in preserving and enhancing our rich therapeutic history.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and please look through our aims and objectives, and business plan on the attached pages to see what our intention are and how we aim to change the perception and spread the word of complementary medicine and therapies and its remedial benefits to society.

If you have no money to give, I would ask that you include The Healing Gardens project in your prayers and meditations to help manifest this legacy.
